I was raised on real estate. As a youngster in the backseat of my mom’s car, I fondly remember her driving around town getting signatures on contracts. That is how real estate contracts were done back then, paper with wet signatures tucked in with stacks of weekly printed books and flyers about new homes on the market. Growing up in the industry and now looking back over my first decade in business for myself, it looks strikingly different than those first memories, however, the mission feels the same –helping people achieve their homeownership dreams in Colorado.
The Denver metro area encompasses all types of living including high-rise city life, luxury residences, tailormade Craftsman homes, traditional suburban homes with nearby open space, ranches, Victorians, Tudors, and suburban/urban homesteading. Purchasing a home is the largest single investment for many people. I do not take that lightly and my experience with all types of clients from all walks of life has led to my clear mission of helping good hardworking people achieve the classic American dream of homeownership and growing that investment into a home.
The real estate market is constantly changing and checking to make sure we are paying attention. I pride myself on keeping up to date with the latest education, tools and resources to position my clients as front runners in the marketplace. My negotiation skills and clear communication are my two seemingly simple, yet superpower traits that set me apart in our industry.
I care. I care about my family, my clients and my community. As a community steward, I am passionate about volunteering. Personally, you will find me volunteering with Reading Partners encouraging and engaging young minds to grow and go on adventures through reading. Professionally, I have served six years on the Board of Directors for the South Metro Denver Realtor Association. You can find me serving as a chair, vice-chair and member of both the Government Affairs and Candidate Screening Committees. I also serve as a candidate screener for the Colorado Association of Realtors. Homeownership is a right and I work hard with my fellow Realtors to protect property rights on your behalf.
As a Colorado native, this state has gifted me a deep love of all the nature surrounding us from 14ers and coniferous pine trees to the unique seasons and my homestead garden. Staying connected to nature is my passion and I live that out every day through our expansive garden and a serious green thumb. Our little budding homestead is one of the most rewarding experiences. Watching my daughter play with worms while I am harvesting our crops melts my heart. As our family grows, we hope our homestead does to with goats, bees and (maybe) chickens. From time to time check-in with me for more stories from the homestead. In my downtime, I enjoy a good fantasy, sci-fi or thriller novel along with playing hard in the mountains –fishing, camping, snowmobiling, hiking and relaxing in the meadows watching wildlife in action. Colorado is my favorite playground and I hope it is yours, too.
